CAST Affiliates Dr Lucas Geese and Dr John Kenny co-authored a report, commissioned and published by Green Alliance, on public opinion on climate policies during the 2024 general election. The report finds that while public concern about energy bills and security remains real, voters are not turning away from climate action. There is broad political space to advance environmental and climate policies, provided they are framed with care and grounded in the economic and social benefits they can deliver.
