Alex is a PhD researcher based at the University of Manchester, with his research focussing on the decarbonisation of transport within Greater Manchester. His project aims to assess the impacts of climate change on the successful delivery of such strategies, developing a transferable risk assessment framework for use in other regions in order to mitigate those negative impacts.
Alex has previously studied at the University of East Anglia, where he completed an MSc in Environmental Sciences with a dissertation investigating the role of climate change in violent conflict, and at the University of Hertfordshire for a BSc in Physical Geography.
