Bella is CAST’s Knowledge Exchange Associate, based at the centre’s hub, the University of Bath. She holds an MSc in Sustainable Development and a BSc in Psychology, specialising in environmental psychology and misinformation.
Bella’s research interests surround climate denial and communication; connectedness to nature as a catalyst for pro-environmental behaviour; and the links between climate change and gender inequality. At CAST, her role involves working with decision-makers to translate research insights into tangible impact.
Before joining CAST, Bella worked at the United Nations Environment Programme in Geneva, Switzerland. She has several years of experience in environmental communications and advocacy, having delivered speaking engagements at the Natural History Museum and the UK Government Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Bella also volunteers for a youth non-profit which helps young people turn eco-anxiety into action.
