Briony Latter is a PhD researcher based at Cardiff University who works within Theme 3 and 4. Her PhD focuses on understanding university research culture and practices in the context of the climate emergency.

 

She has also worked on a CAST Impact Fund project: ‘From carbon footprints to cultural influence: Engaging live music audiences on travel choices‘.

Her work tends to focus on communication and public engagement with climate change and during her PhD she worked as a Research Assistant at Climate Outreach. Briony previously researched climate change communication and engagement with the older generation in England as part of an MA in Climate Change: History, Culture, Society at King’s College London. She also has a background in the creative industry as a photographer and retoucher, then in communications.
