Dr Caroline Verfuerth is a lecturer at Cardiff University Business School and her research is focused on creating a climate-friendly, healthier, and fairer food system. She joined Cardiff Business School in 2024 after working as a Research and Knowledge Exchange Associate in CAST at Bath University and Cardiff University since 2019.
During her time at CAST, she co-led research on cross-cultural visions of low-carbon futures in the UK, China, and Sweden in Theme 1. She also completed a fellowship with the Welsh Government, advising on community food strategies and tree-planting policies. Caroline collaborates with international partners, working with government and non-governmental organisations to shape evidence-based climate strategies.
