Hollye Kirkcaldy is a PhD researcher at the University of Bath. Her research focuses on lived experiences of climate change impacts and adaptation among Disabled people in the UK. Using primarily qualitative approaches, her work explores how disability shapes the impacts of extreme heat, the factors that modulate adaptive capacity and how insights from lived experience can inform inclusive climate adaptation policies. Before her PhD, Hollye worked in strategic communications and later founded Venture Upstream, a consultancy helping purpose-driven organisations, including those working within the climate sector, to scale their reach and impact.
