Leila Zadi is a PhD researcher based at the University of Bath, working through the Centre for Doctoral Training in Green Industrial Futures. Her current project is focused on environmental protest groups and their level of contribution to policy making within Industrial decarbonisation, by investigating factors surrounding alliance formation with political parties/NGOs/charities.
During her time at the University of Sussex, she investigated decision making within the context of climate through her BSc, and factors that contributed to the teacher strikes of 2023 through my MSc. With her insight from these two topics, she hopes her current project will be able to contribute to a Just Transition within industrial decarbonisation, ensuring a people-centred approach is maintained throughout.
