Yasmin Sachdev is a PhD researcher at the University of Bath, working through the South West Doctoral Training Partnership. Her mixed-methods research explores people’s efficacy beliefs about diverse forms of climate action, and how these beliefs interact with structural conditions to shape engagement.
Before her PhD, Yasmin investigated whether carbon labelling and perceived consumer effectiveness predict lower-emission food choices during her BSc, and how and why the perceived effectiveness of climate actions diverges from their actual impact during her MRes. At the University of Bath, she also worked as a Research Assistant on the MoCHA project, examining how moments of change may influence pro-environmental product consumption.
