Christianne is a PhD student in the School of Psychology at Cardiff University and works within Theme 2 of CAST’s programme of work. She will be investigating the impact of disruptive change (e.g. retirement, relocation) on individuals’ environmental attitudes, values and behaviours.
Having taken a rather circuitous route into climate change research, Christianne hopes that her experience in organisational development, corporate strategy, and management research along with her academic training in business, psychology, and environmental sustainability will enable her to bring a truly interdisciplinary approach to her work. In her spare time, she is Chair of the Board of the River Restoration Centre, an independent, not-for-profit environmental organisation which provides expert advice, information and training on the restoration and management of rivers and catchments across the UK.
