Magdalini (Madeleine) Kechagia is a Research Associate at the University of Bath exploring CAST surveys through the lens of climate and recognition justice. Madeleine is an interdisciplinary social researcher interested in environmental, energy, climate issues and policies and with experience in utilising quantitative and qualitative methods. Her PhD in Geographies of Energy Transitions and Justice at the University of Plymouth focused on exploring perceptions of shale-gas fracking in English host communities through an integrated approach that combined technology impacts, justice, sense of place, and broader worldviews. Previous research focused on international carbon markets. She is a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society and an Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education. Based on her teaching and research experience, Madeleine also holds a Visiting Specialist position at the University of Plymouth (School of Geography, Environment, and Earth Sciences).
